About This Project

A College Management System developed in C#.NET with MySQL database to manage student basic and academic details, featuring HOD and Student modules.

The College Management System is a desktop application developed using C#.NET (Windows Forms/WPF) and MySQL for database management. The system is designed to automate and manage student records efficiently and is divided into two role-based modules: HOD and Student.

HOD Module – Enables Heads of Departments to add, update, and manage student basic information and academic details such as enrollment, courses, grades, and semester results. HODs can also generate reports and view student progress.

Student Module – Allows students to securely log in and view their personal and academic details.

The system implements CRUD operations, database connectivity via MySQL, and role-based authentication to ensure secure access. The application features a user-friendly GUI built with Windows Forms/WPF, facilitating easy navigation and data management.

This project demonstrates practical implementation of C#.NET desktop development, database management, event-driven programming, and role-based systems, making it suitable as a major academic project for computer science and IT students.
